About this Event
In the Eastern Sierra, we are all aware of the potential for wildfire smoke to impact our air quality. Learn how to mitigate your exposure when air quality drops with simple steps, including where to find information and how best to utilize available data. We will also provide a lesson in building low-cost air filters.
This is a free workshop presented by the Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District.

About the Mono County Sustainability Series 2024
The Mono County Sustainability Series is a collection of events designed to inspire and educate community members of the Eastern Sierra on sustainability topics including the local nexus of energy and water, the importance of pollinators in our ecosystem, and the qualities that prepare our neighborhoods to be resilient to wildfires. These events are brought to you by the Mono County Free Library and the High Sierra Energy Foundation.
