Join us for "Palette Harmony and Artful Mark-Making." You'll learn how to create the perfect color palette and leave with knowledge of mark-making techniques. We will craft a painting palette with limited color schemes, learn practical color mixing tips/ tricks, and a touch of color theory all with a focus on watercolor but this information could also be applied to all other liquid mediums including acrylics, gouache, and ink. Experiment with wet-on-dry precision, spontaneous splattering, and textured dry brushing to express your creativity. Get to know various brushes and how to use them. Whether you're a seasoned artist looking to add new tools to your kit or a beginner exploring painting nuances, this workshop offers a hands-on experience to master palette coordination and create visually impactful marks on paper. This is a perfect workshop to take prior to Fluid Florals in Watercolor happening May 25th.

About the Instructor:

Majoring in Illustration at Savannah College of Art & Design, I started my journey working as a textile designer for six years in Atlanta, GA. After lots of soul searching I jumped into a career of painting in 2013. I have been doing so full time since selling fine art, prints, and licensing my work.

The natural world is so beautiful and I hope my art is a reflection of that sentiment.
