Join nationally recognized potter and cultural educator, Jennifer Stevens, for a workshop focused on Oneida prehistoric Indigenous pottery. This workshop is comprised of a lecture on Oneida pottery history and cultural significance and a display of historical pottery and artifacts.Jennifer Stevens is an accomplished potter with a BA in Art from St. Norbert College. She is an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin through her father and Oglala Lakota through her mother. Born in Alexandria, Virginia and raised on the Oneida Nation in De Pere, Wisconsin, Jennifer has become nationally recognized for her work in cultural preservation through the revitalization of Oneida Pottery. She has taught Oneida Pottery for over 20 years, working with students from 4K through advanced levels.
