Get your bearings on our follow-on course to our Navigation Essentials. We get to grips with micro navigating as well as using a compass. If you have some working knowledge of map reading already and want to take your navigation to the next level, then this is the day for you! It aims to get you navigating competently and confidently in races or for your own enjoyment. With a small group with plenty of one-to-one alongside group tuition you will have the opportunity to really grasp this skill both theoretically as well as practically.
On this workshop you will be taught how to competently navigate in most conditions with a map and compass by a qualified International Mountain Leader and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Assessor.
The event is easily accessible, just 40 minutes North West of London by rail or road and there is free on-site parking for all runners. All abilities are catered for at this event and although the workshop is aimed at runners, we will be walking the routes to maximise learning.
