Join us as Whitebark Institute hosts a free community workshop about steps we can take towards healthier forests and safer communities.
About this Event

Whitebark Institute presents a distinctive two-part workshop, beginning with an informative presentation on forest ecology, landscape health, and ongoing restoration efforts in Mono and Inyo Counties. Moreover, attendees will gain valuable insights into preparing themselves and their homes, promoting resilience in forested areas.

Following this, participants will embark on a short field trip to forest demonstration areas around Mammoth Lakes, showcasing examples of forest treatments that have already been implemented.

Join us for an enlightening journey towards understanding, action, and preparedness for healthier forests and safer communities!

**Workshop is free and open to all. After the workshop, the first 20 participants to register will continue on to the field trip portion of the event. Please register for your Field Trip ticket on this Eventbrite page.
