Join inspiring calligraphy teacher Laura Edralin for a creative and mindful afternoon workshop focusing on brush pen calligraphy, exploring spring-themes and floral details.Inspired by Jane Austen’s own perfect penmanship, and by the beautiful surroundings of her Chawton home, you'll step away from the busyness of everyday life and immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquility of the spring countryside. Ideal for beginners and calligraphy enthusiasts alike.
You'll begin with a gentle walk in the garden, led by Laura, then refuel with tea and cake before incorporating the botanical and floral imagery we have seen into a calm and mindful calligraphy session – developed especially to support mental wellbeing and leave you with the skills to take home and continue your practice.
By the end of the session you'll have created a hand-calligraphed bookmark – worthy of any Austen novel!
