Learn how to etch, ink, print your own line and tone drawings with South West Printmakers’ Yvonne Dorricott.Drypoint etching is an exciting non-toxic technique for creating images using drawn lines and tone on a poly plate. In this workshop, participants will learn how to ink up and print their plate using an etching press, as well as methods to introduce colour and further enhance their prints.
When: Saturday 3 December, 11.00am - 3.00pm

All materials will be supplied. Please bring along an inspiring A5 line and tone image or drawing to work from
The workshop is aimed for adult learners; the participation of anyone under the age of 18 years requires the attendance of a supervising adult.
This session is a part of a series of different workshops delivered as part of this year's In Place exhibition presented by The South West Printmakers.
About the artist
Yvonne Dorricott is a founding member of The South West Printmakers, she has many years’ experience teaching the multi-disciplinary art of printmaking techniques.
