This fun and informative workshop is an introduction to Burlesque and is suitable for all who wish to
explore their own identity & sexuality in a fun, friendly, safe and non-judgmental environment. ALL ages (18+), abilities, genders & body types welcome
& encouraged.
Learn how to pose like a pin-up, how to strut your stuff with confidence, and how to peel away your gloves
with style and seduction... Learn how to truly tease your audience and leave them begging for more!
Suitable for those who want to perf
orm as well as those who don't. No previous dance experience necessary, and those with 2 left feet are more than welcome! There is NO nudity involved in this workshop and you can wear whatever you feel good in.
PLEASE BRING/WEAR: A pair of elbow length gloves. Clothes that make you feel good, which you can
comfortably move in (such as shorts/leggings/top/bra/bikini/lingerie/tights). Please avoid corsets, tight
pencil skirts or jeans as these restrict your movement. Dance shoes with or without heels or bare feet.
Bring water.
Lady Wildflower is an internationally acclaimed Burlesque performer, producer & teacher based in
Yorkshire. She has been teaching the art of the tease all over the world since 2011 and many of her
students have gone on to become successful, award-winning performers. Wildflower herself was voted no 41 in the World Burlesque Top 50 in 2022 and has been travelling the world with her art form since 2008.
With over 30 years' stage experience; Lady Wildflower is highly trained in drama & theatre as well as a
wide variety of dance styles including contemporary, disco-freestyle, ballroom and Latin American. She is a
fully qualified IDTA dance teacher and is insured under Equity.
