** PRESENTER **
Helen Humphreys of Carlaminda will be showing us everything about bees she can fit into a 1-day workshop! Helen is a semi-commercial beekeeper, trainer, mentor, and educator with over 20 years’ experience in the primary production industry.
Helen is active in transferring her knowledge and sharing lessons learned with other experienced beekeepers and the wider community to promote responsible beekeeping practices.
With her commitment to bees, Helen combines hands-on expertise as an experienced beekeeper with a deep passion for education and mentoring. Her work continues to inspire and support beekeepers of all levels, strengthening the industry through her focus on biosecurity and responsible beekeeping practices.
Your don't need any experience or materials. Just an interest! You may be wanting to help the garden with their hives or have a hive of your own in the backyard that you'd like to make better use of!
**COST**
Course is free (with thanks to Department of Communities)
Catering is $20 for morning and afternoon tea and lunch
