Denne sæsonen har FIMD indgået et samarbejde med Matthew Rawcliffe, som vil facilitere denne åbne workshop i forbindelse med hans nye værk Narkissos.
Narkissos er en sanselig danseforestilling om selvkærlighed for unge med udviklingshæmning.

Om workshoppen:
"En praktisk workshop, der udforsker den kreative proces for Matthews nye værk 'Narcissus', en sanselig danseforestilling for unge mennesker med dybe indlæringsvanskeligheder og autistiske unge. Udover at lære repertoiret fra forestillingen vil vi også udforske sanserne og lære om, hvordan sansekommunikation kan understøtte nye publikummer i dans. Narkissos er en en-til-en forestilling - så inden for workshoppen vil vi udforske, hvad det vil sige at være virkelig interaktiv i vores dans, lytte dybt, reagere empatisk og virkelig være i nuet".
Om underviseren:
Matthew Rawcliffe er danser med en MA med speciale i inkluderende praksis. Han har tidligere har samarbejdet med National Autistic Society og leveret træning til organisationer, herunder Pavilion Dance South West og Chichester Festival Theatre. Matthew spillede for nylig Pinocchio på Det Kongelige Teater, og hans kommende kreationer omfatter sansebearbejdninger af historierne om Hades & Persephone (Manchester) og Narkissos (København).

Workshoppen koster 300 kr. (200 kr. for medlemmer).

About the workshop:
A practical workshop exploring the creative process for Matthew’s new work ‘Narcissus’ a sensory dance performance for young people with profound learning disabilities and autistic young people. In addition to learning repertoire from the performance we will also explore the senses and learn about how sensory communication can support new audiences in dance. Narkissos is a one-on-one performance - so within the workshop we will explore what it means to be truly interactive in our dancing, listening deeply, responding empathetically and really being in the moment.
About the facilitator:
Matthew Rawcliffe is a dance artist with an MA specialising in inclusive practice who has previously collaborated with National Autistic Society and delivered training for organisations including Pavilion Dance South West and Chichester Festival Theatre. Matthew recently played Pinocchio at the Danish Royal Theatre and his upcoming creations include sensory adaptations of the stories of Hades & Persephone (Manchester) and Narkissos (Copenhagen).
Registration and payment:
The workshop costs DKK 300. (DKK 200 for members).
(For you who are new: You register as a member at the first workshop. Registration is non-binding and costs DKK 150).
Should the workshop be canceled against expectations, you will of course get your money back.
