Facilitated stretching is a technique where we engage a muscle in order to provide a deeper, safer stretch leading to greater flexibility. In this workshop, we'll:
-- discuss the anatomy of the hips and thighs for a better understanding of our muscular system
-- utilize engagement of the muscles to bring awareness of their actions
-- put the actions into practice
Discussion will be followed by a physical practice. Some yoga experience will be helpful but not required.
