Meet Viking Helga and find out more about life in Viking times.About this Event
In this fast-paced workshop, children will meet the Viking Helga.
She will share a range of replica Anglo-Saxon and Viking weaponry and encourage children to consider which would have been the more effective in battle.
Children will also have the opportunity to explore incredible Anglo-Saxon and Viking artefacts in our gallery spaces and handle replica artefacts in our trading challenge.
Our map investigation activity will consolidate the children’s understanding of the lasting impact of the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons in the local area.
