Join artist Clare Delaney for a workshop that blends observation, sculpture, and drawing with playful, imaginative making. Participants will visit the exhibition space to explore the contribution to SENSORIAL by the Inspired by Art class. Working together, they will construct a soft, sculptural figure using body part cushions; this temporary form will become the subject of an observational drawing.
Back in the art room, participants will create their own imaginative bodies from individual parts using line, rubbings, and collage. The final works will be cut out and assembled with push pins and may be displayed in a public space or taken home.

About the artist:
👩🎨 Claire Delaney is a visual storyteller, creating illustrations in pen and ink, watercolour, and narrative-rich oil paintings. She also runs creative workshops that invite people to explore their own imagination, paint murals that weave stories into public and private spaces and take on personalised commissions full of character and meaning. Claire leads Inspired by Art, an inclusive, accessible visual arts class, open to people of all abilities. Her work is also featured in Blue Mountains Cultural Centre’s touring exhibition SENSORIAL, now on exhibition in the Main Gallery of Singleton Arts + Cultural Centre.
