This workshop, presented by TransCen, is designed for families who wish to know more about the role employment can play in their family member’s life.
Individuals are encouraged to attend.
Parents/Guardians (and Teachers/Agency Personnel) who support individuals
with disabilities are welcomed to join in this informational meeting.
Presentation will be held in the UNO Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center • Room 116

The workshop will cover:
- What role does employment play in a person’s life?
- How can I support my loved one to build skills needed for employment success?
- Why is it important to support your loved one to lead the employment process?
- What do I do if I have questions or concerns about my loved one working in the community?
Training led by industry leaders known for innovative and best practices in the field of
employment for persons with disabilities.
