Dreaming of becoming an author-illustrator?Join children's author, Pauline Mackay, and illustrator, Marjory Tait, in a fun but intense workshop running over two days during which you will work on story ideas and design three illustrations. This is a great opportunity for aspiring author-illustrators to learn about the relationship between text and image. A unique chance to have both a writer and illustrator working with you over two days.
Pauline and Marjory have worked together on several projects including The Colourful Moo rhyming picture book, Happy Broomstick Day and Wild About Inverness heritage trails published by Ablekids Press.
Writing & Illustration Workshop - 2 days
Saturday and Sunday October 19-20th; 10am-4pm each day
Drum Farm Gallery, Gift Shop, Drumnadrochit, Inverness-shire
Price: £180 per person.
Minimum age: 16 years
The price must be paid in full prior to the event. Full refunds will be given up to the 12th of October.
We require a minimum of 8 people to allow the course to run with a maximum of 12 participants.
Please bring notepad and pencil/pen. All other essential core materials are provided.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will also be provided for breaks however participants should bring their own lunch.
