NEW Workshop! - Drawing from the Masters
Copying master drawings is a rewarding way to improve your drawing skills.
This class will provide the opportunity to explore a variety of working methods and drawing media of past master draftsmen.The class will begin with a lecture on analyzing technique, followed by a brief demonstration of a traditional approach to drawing. The remainder of the day will be given to copying master works (via images via presentation), with the assistance of the instructor.
Students will go home with a drawing, new skills and many new resources for continued exploration!
Drawing materials will be supplied, but participants are encouraged to bring their own paper and pencils.

Shannon Walker
Shannon has been teaching art classes to children, teens and adults for the past ten years. Currently, she is a resident teaching artist at the Norton Museum of Art, where she teaches a wide array of classes. Her goal is to offer an opportunity for more in-depth drawing instruction to those students as well as many new students.

No refund will be given if requested less than seventy two (72) hours until scheduled workshop time for any reason. Only one ticket transfer will be allowed per person per workshop type, and will only occur if requested outside of the 72 hour mark of the registered workshop.
