Workshop: De-escalation & Healthy Communication Tactics and Strategies

90-minute de-escalation & healthy communication tactics and strategies workshop. This interactive workshop includes information on best practices for healthy workplace and at-home communication and de-escalation. Common experiences relating to neurophysiology, behaviors, styles and processes of expressing distress will be shared and discussed as we cover typical barriers and challenges. Participants will also come away with a better understanding of the most effective and efficient ways to helpfully engage those in need of behavioral health support (at work in a professional role, and at home in a personal role) while also developing insight into their own interpersonal communication tactics and styles.
