In this one day session you will learn the basic skills of how to make people laugh as someone else, or, stand up dressed up.This day is designed to help and direct existing character acts that might need some development and polish, alongside those looking to try it for the very first time.
Further, We Are Funny Project will strive to provide stage time to students so that aspects of what they have learned can be applied and practised.

The class is taught by stand up comedian, podcaster and heavy metal singer Howard Smith. He brings a wealth of comedy and entertainment experience having performed stand up for 19 years and as character Keith Platt – Professional Yorkshireman for 11 of those years.
Howard/Keith has toured all over the UK from some of the toughest pubs to cultured comedy clubs and finding a particularly warm welcome at festivals, Download, Brighton’s Best Of Fringe, Bloodstock, Beautiful Days and Farm Fest.Howard has also written for and appeared in various BBC Radio & TV productions.http://keithplatt.co.uk/

Highly recommended. Howard ('Keith') is a very experienced comedian who performs and MCs in and out of character. He was a great teacher on the day ready to share what he has learned on the pro circuit.
