This 3-hour course provides a comprehensive overview of anxiety and the cycle of anxiety. We will explore the cycle of anxiety and how we can rewire our brain when it comes to feeling anxious or worried. Although there is a focus on brain-based strategies, which work as preventative measures, we will explore what happens in our bodies and how to support our body in times of heightened anxiety or worry. A range of engaging therapeutic activities will be presented, to use in classrooms, or with children and families, with key skills to develop a healthy relationship with anxiety.
