Workshop "I am remarkable"

Imposter syndrome. Stereotypes. Culture. For many reasons, lots of us
feel uncomfortable sharing our achievements.
Why is it important to recognise and share your accomplishments? And why
is this especially challenging for women and other underrepresented groups?

#IAmRemarkable is a global movement that empowers everyone to celebrate
their achievements in the workplace and beyond, while challenging the
social perception and stereotypes around self-promotion.

During the workshop you will:

• Increase your awareness of data and research regarding self-promotion
  and bias, especially among women
• Learn the importance of self-promotion in your personal and
  professional life and be equipped with practical tools to develop this skill
• Practice articulating individual achievements and sharing with others
  

There is no need to prepare for the workshop, just come with an open
heart and mind, ready to dive a step deeper into your biases and
emotions. You are invited to come on time to hear the opening words that
will guide us through the whole session.
This will be an interactive workshop with plenary discussion and small
groups sharing. Our meeting will last about 2 hours, with a bio break
included.

Teresa began her career as a Gender Consultant, working with
organizations such as the United Nations, the Austrian Red Cross, and
the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). Over the past two
years, she has served as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
Specialist at FOUR PAWS International, where she leads the DEI team,
moderates the Women's Network, and facilitates workshops that foster a
culture of inclusion and belonging. Teresa is a trained facilitator of
the #IamRemarkable workshop and has reached over 100 participants in the
past year. She enjoys integrating her experience in somatic and
meditation practices into her sessions and is deeply passionate about
creating spaces where women can reconnect with their bodies, emotions,
and personal freedom.

After the presentation, there will be an informal networking opportunity
for everyone to branch out and meet new contacts in the NPO sphere. We
are excited to see you!

The NPO Frauennetzwerk is branching out to English-speaking women in
Vienna. German speaking NPO ladies are also welcome (it really does not
matter if your English is not perfect!).
We welcome our members to reach out and invite friends and colleagues
from the NGO sector to join this event to network, learn from each
other, and stay informed on future English-speaking events in Vienna!
All women in NPOs are cordially invited. We are open for English
speaking women and German speaking women who want to use this
opportunity to practise their English and connect.
