Let's introduce the second dance teacher, we will gradually introduce the other four to you in the following events:
Bhavya Subbakrishnan an Indian classical dancer specialising in Kathak, semi-classical and classical forms, residing in Prague since 2019. She has honed her skills in Kathak and contemporary fusions since 13 years with Guru Geetha, and she has also performed semi-classical Indian dance that combines elements of Bollywood, Contemporary, and Kathak. Since 2022, She has had the privilege of performing at several esteemed events, including Brno BVV Dance Life, Yoga Surya international, Asian festival in Prague, Experience India, Studio Naplno and Indian Embassy events. These performances have sparked substantial interest and appreciation, leading to calls for presenting these vibrant dance forms to larger audiences on bigger stages for Bhavya. In response to positive feedback and growing interest from the Czech community, she has conducted workshops across various studios and schools to further engage and educate aspiring dancers about Indian classical dance and culture. She is eager to explore new collaborations and opportunities to expand these performances and reach international audiences.
💃🏻On Saturday, you can enjoy the “Bollywood romantic” dance workshop with Bhavya from 10:00-11:30 at the Naplno studio, Štěpánská 640/45, Prague 1.
