Abstracted Landscape Collage 2-Day
All materials provided.
Join instructor Jocelyn Chemel for a session where you will assengle your own work to create a unique collage art piece! (No makeup dates)
- Saturday, September 20 | 2pm - 4pm
- Saturday, September 27 | 2pm - 4pm
In the first class attendees will paint their own collage papers using special tissue paper and using a variety of techniques, like sponging, palette knives and saran wrap and learning about color.
In the second class we will have fun assembling an abstracted landscape using your collage papers. This class teaches you how to collage and paint on the same piece, using a favorite photograph you have or the instructor provides. You will come away with a finished piece on board or paper.
This workshop helps you learn about composition and abstraction All materials are provided and all levels are invited.
Instructor Biography
JOCELYN CHEMEL
Jocelyn was born in South Africa and lived in Boston for over 30 years and has recently moved to Delray Beach. Jocelyn studied design, printmaking and mixed media at the Museum School in Boston. She also taught decorative painting techniques for many years as well as mixed media to children.
