Create an Art Altar with Mixed Media AssemblageSundays, October 19 and November 16
1:00 - 4:00 PM
These are single-session workshops.
In this hands-on, heart-led workshop, you’ll transform a small, wall-mounted plywood shelf into a deeply personal art piece- part sculpture, part shrine, and all you. Whether you choose a ready-made shelf or design and build your own, this will become a meaningful space to hold your thoughts, memories, and intentions.
Using found objects, small wooden pieces, collage, and acrylic paint, you’ll bring your shelf to life with color, texture, and story. Think of it as creating a home for what matters most; journals, favorite books, small artifacts, candles, incense, photos, or anything sacred to your daily rituals.
In the spirit of the holiday season and inspired by traditions of home altars, meditation spaces, and special corners, we’ll explore what it means to make space for reflection and joy in your home.
No experience needed- just bring your curiosity and anything meaningful you'd like to include.
All materials and instructions are provided. No experience necessary!
Each class is limited to 20 people.
This opportunity is hosted in partnership with Neighbor-To-Neighbor.
