Each Third Sunday, a small act of holy rebellion. In a culture shaped by greed and disregard for human dignity, we choose the Works of Mercy: Corporal Works call us to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, and shelter the homeless. The Spiritual Works invite us to instruct, counsel, forgive, comfort, and pray.
We walk in the footsteps of Servant of God Dorothy Day, our little-brother-in-Christ Bob Waldrop, Peter Maurin, and the great cloud of Saints whose examples sustain us. Dorothy Day taught that we all experience “the long loneliness,” and that “the answer is community.”
Here in Oklahoma City, we are building that community.
