Power Hour: Workplace Communication
In Person | Ages 13–18

How you communicate at work matters. From asking questions to handling feedback and working with supervisors or teammates, strong communication helps you feel confident and respected.

This in-person Power Hour helps you learn what professional communication looks like in real world settings. Through guided discussion and interactive activities, you will practice communicating clearly, respectfully, and confidently in workplace situations.

During this session, you will:

  • Learn how to communicate professionally at work
  • Understand expectations around tone, timing, and respect
  • Practice asking questions and seeking clarification
  • Learn how to handle feedback and direction
  • Build confidence communicating with supervisors and teammates

SkillZilla Power Hours are interactive, supportive, and built for where you are right now. You do not need job experience to benefit from this session.

This Power Hour works as a standalone session and also connects to SkillZilla cohorts and future opportunities.
