About this Event
Participants of this workshop will be introduced to the cyanotype process and create cameraless photographs of objects, plants, and other materials found on-site at the Arboretum. We’ll explore the preparation of cyanotype chemistry, various paper coating techniques, and proper exposure using both natural and artificial light sources. All the skills in this class can be translated to the home studio with minimal compromise. This workshop is geared for participants with little-to-no experience with the cyanotype process, but even a seasoned practitioner should find value in this unique approach to the medium.
