About this Event
As part of Creative Climate Futures, we have been working with embedded artists in each of our Pioneer Neighbourhoods. This is your opportunity to find out how it has worked, what we have learned and how you can apply this in your own work on climate change.
Join Creative Carbon Scotland for this session, which will include:
- Discussion about the benefits of the embedded artist approach
- A hands-on exercise exploring what methods artists have used with participants in Creative Climate Futures
- An activity walking through what an embedded artist project might look like for you
- Space to share knowledge and experience with other participants
- Practical advice on making embedded artist projects work
This session is aimed at climate change organisations, community organisations and others who think they could benefit from working with artists for their work on climate change.
This is the advanced level session, which assumes some experience of working with artists and will include more space to discuss and learn from this experience. We are also holding a beginner level session, which assumes no or limited previous experience of working with artists.
Do you need support to attend?
Everyone is welcome at our events.
We know that it’s sometimes difficult for everyone to attend because of unintended barriers. We want to make any necessary adjustments to our events so that no one is excluded. These adjustments will differ from event to event and person to person, so we need your help to get it right. Please inform us of your accessibility requirements for this event during the Eventbrite registration process or get in touch by emailing [email protected] if you would like to provide more information or ask any questions.
You’ll understand that some adjustments may take more time to arrange than others, so we appreciate you giving us as much notice as possible about what you need so that we can support you to get the most out of this event.
