About this Event
Power Hour: Diversity, Inclusion & Working With Different People
In Person | Ages 18 & up
Hosted at iCode Augusta
You will work with people who think differently, communicate differently, and come from different backgrounds. Knowing how to navigate those differences respectfully and effectively is a skill that directly impacts teamwork, growth, and opportunity.
This in-person Power Hour focuses on practical skills for working with different people in real-world settings. We move beyond buzzwords and focus on awareness, communication, and behaviors that help you collaborate well and avoid unnecessary conflict.
During this session, you will:
- Learn why diversity and inclusion matter in everyday work settings
- Understand how different perspectives strengthen teams
- Build skills for respectful communication and collaboration
- Practice navigating differences without tension or shutdown
- Gain confidence working with people who think and operate differently
SkillZilla Power Hours are practical, supportive, and built for real life. This session is about growth and effectiveness, not judgment or perfection.
