About this Event
This workshop is one of a series under the Entrepreneurs’ Programme Net Zero Smart Project.
The objective of the project is to assist WA small-medium businesses in measuring their carbon footprint and developing decarbonization strategies so they are ready for the future net zero supply chains.
This is a free workshop open to all WA businesses and is hosted by Ai Group.
There will be a key-note presentation delivered by Barbara Albert (Co-CEO, 100% Renewables) followed by a panel session and Q&A moderated by Dr Kate Brooks (Entrepreneurs’ Programme with AiGroup).
The panel will be finalised over the next week and will include WA net zero experts and businesses who are net zero certified with Climate Active.

- Understanding the “carbon jargon”
- Knowing your business Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
- Calculating your carbon footprint and developing a net zero strategy
- Identifying de-carbonisation solutions
- Navigating the carbon offset and certification schemes (such as Climate Active)
About the Speakers:
Barbara Albert Barbara is the Co-CEO of 100% Renewables, a consultancy specialised in developing net-zero pathways. Barbara is a speaker, podcast host of ‘Driving Net Profit with Zero Emissions’ and award-winning author of the book 'Energy Unlimited'. She is passionate about business and sustainability and believes that reaching net-zero emissions is achievable and profitable when done right. Barbara holds a master’s degree in commerce from the University for Business Administration and Economics in Vienna and studied at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
