WORKING HUNTER SHOW

For classes you will be required to complete a round of jumping and a small showing show which is to include a walk, trot and canter on both reins with an extended Canter on one rein. *80% of all the fences will be built to maximum height as indicated by the class unless otherwise stated. A maximum of 70% can be awarded for the jumping section (credit for even rhythm with a good free flowing stride. Good approach, even arc and clean straight landing for jumping) with 20% for riders show and 10% for overall impression. If the classes are busy the Show section may be moved to another arena to allow us to move through the classes quicker.
Conformation will not be considered, but marks will be awarded for condition of horse/pony suitability for a working hunter competition (winter coats accepted, no plaiting or clipping required) and the judge will not ride any horse/pony. All Classes open to all Horses/Ponies Junior/Seniors.
Class numbers may be limited. Rosettes up to sixth place will be awarded (dependant on the number of entries within the class).
The purpose of this show is to allow you to come along in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, to enable to keep horses in work and to learn and practice for show season this is to take in to account the cold winter weather conditions, allowing you to be at the show for the minimum amount to time.

£16.50 per class. Clear rounds £9 per round.
Clear round jumping may be held on the Thursday before the event. Check FB for this information.
