An Introduction to Working Equitation at Versatile Horsemanship in Nocona, Texas. Join us in 2025 as we plan to host a series of Working Equitation events with guest instructors at each event. Our first event's guest instructor is Doreen Atkinson!
*About this Clinic-
February 15-16, 2025: Saturday morning will begin with everyone meeting in the Club House for a 3-hour classroom introduction to Working Equitation. Learn the in’s and out’s of the sport, rules, levels, etc. from the number one ranked Master rider in the nation, Doreen Atkinson.
Saturday and Sunday’s participation and auditing price does include lunch, so we’ll all enjoy a brief lunch provided by Versatile Horsemanship (if you haven’t had Elliot’s cooking yet, you’re in for a real treat. This guy is more than a horse trainer and horseman).
Saturday afternoon will begin the participation portion of the clinic with 6 individual ride times that everyone can watch. Sunday is another great day consisting of 8 individual ride times. You can sign up for ride time(s) one day, or both days

*About the Instructor-
“Doreen is a senior judge for USA Working Equitation (USAWE) and an international judge candidate for the World Association of Working Equitation. She rides and competes at the Master level in working equitation, demonstrating her expertise and dedication to the discipline. Doreen has earned prestigious accolades, including the USDF bronze and silver medals and the Working Equitation platinum medal, which is awarded at the Master level. Notably, she was the first U.S. rider to achieve the platinum medal and ranked as the number one Master rider in the nation. Doreen has also served on the USAWE board for four years, recently completing her first term as the organization's president. She is available for judging, teaching, and conducting clinics in working equitation.”
