Join us for a winter working bee at Oaklands Wetland and Reserve. We will meet to clear away winter W**d and re-establish native plants to improve biodiversity on the reserve.This is a special day for some of our volunteers as it marks a time of celebration for their faith. We will mark this time by working together to planting seedlings as a service to others.
MEETING POINT
Meet at the registration desk or tool trailer located in the rear carpark of Oaklands Wetland and Reserve. You will know our volunteers as they wear high viz vests. You must register to join the working bee.
The friends can provide some tools and equipment, insurance, plant/W**d identification, seedlings and morning tea.
BYO gloves, hand trowel, water bottle and any medications you need for your personal health (eg. asthma puffer).
WHAT TO WEAR
This is an outdoor event held in winter. Please wear closed shoes, long sleeved top, long pants and hat for sun protection and or head warmth.
