About this Event
The Maryland Apprenticeship Connector (MAC) is excited to launch the 2024 Workforce Roadshow, a series of in-person events designed to showcase the benefits of apprenticeship as a workforce solution. These events will focus on high school-level apprenticeships and provide valuable insights into the resources and incentives available to support employers and workforce development organizations across Maryland. This series will help employers understand how to effectively integrate apprenticeships into their talent pipeline.
A primary resource to be introduced at these events is this newly launched website, macworkforce.org. The Apprentice Connect website is a one-stop resource designed for three key audiences: career seekers, employers, and educators.
Event Format:
Networking Opportunities: Meet local businesses, workforce leaders, and education/training providers.
Panel Discussions: Insights from a MAC team member, workforce organization representative, local employers utilizing apprenticeships, education providers, and representatives from the Maryland Department of Labor.
Event Cost
Attendance is free but is best suited for individuals responsible for creating and maintaining a quality pipeline of employees.
