We need workers for the Folsom Street Fair Beer Booth
This is a paid position – You will get the minimum wage ($18.67/hour)
You can choose to donate all or a portion of your wages to Tenderloin Tessie
But you must tell me ahead of time what portion you would like to donate, if any, to Tenderloin Tessie because they will take it out of your check before sending it to you.
As you know we feed those less fortunate than us, 3 times a year, at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. And any monies we get will go towards keeping these dinners going.
EVENT: FOLSOM STREET FAIR
WHAT: WORKING IN BEER BOOTH (EITHER POURING BEER OR HELPING
AT THE FRONT LINE TO LOOK AT ID’s, TAKE ORDERS AND COLLECT THE MONEY FOR THE PRODUCT).
DATE: SUNDAY – SEPTEMBER 29, 2024
TIME: 9 AM – 7 PM (See below for Shifts)
SHIFTS: 9 AM – 11 AM > SET-UP
11 AM – 3 PM > 1st SHIFT
3 PM – 7 PM > 2nd SHIFT (I NEED 20
WORKERS AND 15 OF YOU
WILL ONLY WORK TIL 6 PM AND 5 OF
YOU I NEED TO STAY
UNTIL 7 PM AND TEAR-DOWN)
Everyone is required to get a RBS Certificate from the State of California.
That is a Responsible Beverage Service Certificate. And yes, even those only pouring beer. You can take it online and it cost a little bit of money. I took it last year and it cost $9.00 and last for 3 years. The cost may be a little more than that this year.
Exception to avove > For those of you who are just setting up from 9 - 11 am or just tearing down from 6 - 7 pm you do not need the certificate.
Instructions will be sent in the confirmation e-mail to you after you sign up to work.
Also, there will be a Training Meeting on Saturday – September 28, 2024 at 11 am at the SF Eagle at 398 12th St @Harrison.
If you want to work, please send me your name, e-mail, cell phone number, street address (This is for mailing your check) and which shift or shifts you want to work.
I will send you an instruction e-mail on how to get your certificate and asking you how much you would like to donate (If any).
You will then get a reminder e-mail closer to the date with instructions on what to bring and the exact location of the booth.
All remaining proceeds, minus wages, go to Tenderloin Tessie Holiday Dinners
