Work, living, and pursuit of happiness: Examining the current outcomes of autistic adults
About this Event

Whether you work with young kids or adults, all the individuals we serve get older. Have you ever wondered what their lives might look like later in life? Join us to hear from Dr. Catherine Lord on her impactful findings from following a sample of over 200 children since they were around 2 years old, most of whom were diagnosed with autism at that time. Now that this sample is approaching age 35, Dr. Lord explores what they are doing in adulthood, how much independence they have, and what factors, from early and later in development, predict their engagement and well-being in work and daytime activities, independence, social relationships, and levels of challenges.
