About this Event
True stories about work from the POV of host Elissa Marcus, who has had nearly 100 jobs in their lifetime. In their briefcase are all of the jobs they've ever had on slips of paper - dinner theater actor? Telemarketer? Lyft driver? An audience member chooses a slip, and Elissa will tell a hilarious and/or weird story about that job. Then, an improv team will create scenes based off the story. If you can guess if Elissa quit, got laid off, or was fired, you get a prize!

Elissa is a member of the Pack Improv team Mindreader. They are also the co-host of LA's first(?) storytelling mic, Chill Vibes Mic, at the Lyric Hyperion. You can catch them at every theater in town doing improv, stand up, storytelling and more.
