About this Event
Join for our next event Work & Wellbeing
We would love you to join us for our next event for a discussion on Work & Wellbeing. We are delighted to be holding the event at the recently completed Island on John Dalton Street. Island is a new workplace offer from HBD and GMPF with sustainability and hospitality at the heart of the scheme.
Robert Phillips - Island project lead for Cartwright Pickard Architects, will be speaking about his experience of working on the project during the pandemic. Having to quickly adapt to a new way of working when lockdown was announced and managing a situation where the boundaries between work and family life became complicated. Followed by the uncertainties of returning to the office to discover what the new norm would be.
Ed Cutler - an architect with over 10 years’ experience working predominantly in the later living, care and primary healthcare sector. He is committed to nurturing wellbeing and belonging through Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the workplace, and is a trained Mental Health First Aider and DEI Coach. His approach to work (and life) is centred on people – through curious collaboration, honest communication, and making people smile along the way.
Ed will speak about the risks of burnout and the benefits of an empathetic approach to leadership to all parties.
Thanks to HBD for kindly hosting us.
We look forward to seeing you there for a great event.
