Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The lunch will begin with a cash bar and appetizers, and the main course will be served about 12:00 noon in a private room at the Palace Café. The lunch is open to members and non-members of the Association and the MLA. All are welcome to attend.

Space is limited, and advance reservations are requested by December 20, although we will continue to accept reservations after that date on a space-available basis. Please remit $30 per person (or $20 for adjunct faculty, graduate students, and independent scholars) using the "Get tickets" link above. Your credit card payment will be processed by Eventbrite through their secure payment system.

This annual lunch is always a social high-point of the MLA Convention, and we are delighted to host a festive gathering of British, American, and European Romanticists, along with your friends, students and colleagues. We promise lively conversation, excellent company and delicious Cajun cooking served New Orleans style! The lunch is "priced below cost" and includes a tasty selection of appetizers, entrées, dessert, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Wine, beer and cocktails will be available at the cash bar.
