River City Poets are back at Firehouse for an evening of inspiration and camaraderie! We'll kick off the night with time to grab a drink at the bar & reconnect with fellow poet-peeps, then get the poetry rolling with feature performances before ending with an open mic opportunity under the bright lights of Firehouse's center stage. We are THRILLED to announce our feature poet for February will be none other than our new Virginia Poet Laureate, Mattie Quesenberry Smith! You don't want to miss this night.
