Words for Wellbeing returns to Bournemouth Library on Thursday November 20th to explore the strange and powerful world of dreams. From museful daydreams to the wisdom of dream journals, dreams have always been an inspiration and source of creativity for artists of all kinds. In this session, we’ll investigate through group discussions and mindful writing prompts how dreams – whether waking or sleeping – offer writers a wellspring of deeper meanings and narrative possibilities, diving into their rich, symbolic language to explore how they can generate unexpected insights and imagery and ignite new and exciting creative pathways!---
Words for Wellbeing is a fun and informal writing group, for anyone that’s looking to share inspiration and spark creativity. The group is welcoming to all types of writers – poets, novelists, lyricists, playwrights, scriptwriters – even people that have never written before. Each session is self-contained, and the emphasis is on writing for enjoyment and self-realisation, so if you're looking for a way to grow as a writer, or just want to find somewhere to express yourself and connect with other writers, come along and join in the fun.
Big thanks to Dominic Wong and Bournemouth Writing Festival for supporting this group. More news on future sessions and events, coming soon...
