Special Reading and Book Release by Lesley Wheeler
Lesley Wheeler’s sixth poetry collection, Mycocosmic, will be published by Tupelo Press in March 2025. She is also the author of Poetry’s Possible Worlds and the novel Unbecoming. Her work has been supported by Fulbright, the National Endowment for the Humanities, Breadloaf, and the Sewanee Writers Workshop. Recent poems and essays appear in Poetry, Massachusetts Review, American Poetry Review, Ecotone, Poets & Writers, and elsewhere. Poetry Editor of Shenandoah, she lives in Virginia and teaches at W&L. After the featured readings, there will be a sign-up sheet at the door. Open Mic participants, please plan for 3-5 min reading.
Our space is curated for artists to freely and unapologetically express themselves. We invite individuals from all walks of life to support and participate in our open mic. So step up to the mic and read your favorite poem, engage in conversation with other local artists,6:30 pm all while enjoying our beautiful wines.
