Join us for a fun evening at our annual Words and Friends for Literacy extravaganza, where teams of 4 compete with other teams in a friendly competition of linguistic genius. EVENT
Words & Friends for Literacy is our annual fundraising event where we invite members of the community to form teams of 4 to participate in a three-game Scrabble competition. Throughout the event, there will be opportunities to enhance both your point totals and donations by purchasing extra letters.
OUR GOAL
The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and funds for adult literacy! We are the only community-based literacy program for adults in Portage County, and proceeds from this event are essential to the services we provide our learners.
Food and refreshments will be provided. And for those seeking a little extra zest, there'll be a cash bar available that evening.

Registration: $25/person ($100 for a team of 4)

GIFTS AND PRIZES
In 2023, we asked participants to bring items for our white elephant prize table. It was such a hit in 2023 and 2024, that we are doing it again! Bring one of your past treasures to our prize table, encouraged but not required.
