The night is hosted by comedic duo Jamie Merrick and Kid Anansi who have both appeared on BAFTA Award winning show Life and Rhymes which aired on Sky Arts.
Jamie Merrick, young(ish) Brit(ish) poet, stuck in the gutter of Hackney. Think John Cooper Clarke if he faceswapped with Jesus and lived on a diet of cheap beer and off-license samosa.l
Kid Anansi is the poetic equivalent of finding out that the drinks machine in your local McDonalds has quietly replaced its Pepsi button with spiced rum.
