About this Event
Youth age 8-18 are invited to learn about the world on amteur radio with Chris Ranck , K3DCR. Learn about how radio waves work, about electronics and electricity, and the many opportunities for youth in this exciting hobby. We will work through the knowledge needed to pass the FCC license test and present to you the opportunity to obtain your very own Amatuer radio liscense!
You do not need any equipment to join this 4-H Club.
Class Fee $25.00 This is for instructional supplies.
If you are not currently a Maryland 4-H member, you will need to enroll in Worcester County 4-H prior to the start of the program. To do this go to https://v2.4honline.com

Should your child choose to be licensed, that fee would be extra.
