**Live Music & Contra Dancing 2nd Saturdays Sept to June!**
● WHEN: Dance 7:30-10:30 pm [learn the ropes 7:15 pm]
● WHERE: Wesley U M Church's Gymnasium,
114 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01608
● THIS IS so wicked fun!! We dance to live fiddle tunes of Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Appalachia and America! We switch partners after every dance so there is no need to bring a partner, and there is No need to know how to have a fantastic time!!
● PARKING: at WESLEY U.M. CHURCH There is plenty of parking and additional parking behind the building (enter by driving up State St and turning Left into the parking area @ 10-12 State St, Worcester, MA 01609 for Parking:)

● LIVE MUSIC: "JOY FACTOR"! They are a contra dance band from MA featuring: Henry Yoshimura on guitar, Gianna Marzilli Ericson & Jeremy Widmer on fiddles. They play original tunes alongside Celtic, Quebecois, and old-time repertoire, all with a decidedly New England accent!
● CALLER: DON HEINOLD, a national caller from Rhode Island, Don has been calling at dances, weddings, and parties all over New England for over 14 years and most recently in Baton Rouge LA. He is also known for his clear calling and teaching the popular rotary (or "turning") waltz.!
● ADMISSION: (your choice) $10 - $12 p.p., $6 - $8 students, families $25. Donations are gratefully appreciated!

● FOOD: Donations of snacks for the break are wanted and gleefully appreciated!
● CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR: Just bring, clean shoes to dance in to preserve the floor (no high heels please). Dress is comfortable and as you like.
● ROLE TERMS are: "Ladies & Gents " but dancers are welcome to choose whatever role that works best for you as has been done for years!
