This 7 Km walk is in the Woowookarung Regional Park, just southeast of Ballarat. It is an easy walk, starting with a steady climb, enjoying the masses of grass trees in the park, then returning back and finishing beside a streamline. The pace will be easy but steady, and the walk will take about 2 hours, so it is suitable for those new to bushwalking.Meet at 9.45 for 10am sharp start. Bring a chair, a cuppa (Thermos) and lunch/snack for afterwards.

Our friendly and active club offers a broad program of bushwalking and other outdoor activities throughout the year. We welcome people of all ages and abilities from beginners new to bushwalking to those with more experience. Visitors are always welcome to join us for a walk or come along to our monthly club night. Many of our activities are around Ballarat and Western Victoria, but we also travel further afield for many activities.
