We take a look at evidence from the past and the present, and from cultural and societal examples both real and imagined as we explore this existential question. Each week offers a different perspective from a different tutor. Join us on the road of discovery.
If you are interested in history, politics, philosophy and stimulating, thought provoking discussion of complex issues......... this is the course for you.
Dates: 5 February to 9 April 2025 (every Wednesday morning for 10 weeks).
Each week is a new topic so it doesn't matter if you miss a session.

Welcome to the Woollahra Philosophy Club where all things of a philosophical nature are considered. Listen and learn, discuss and debate. Hosted by Woollahra Council, in partnership with the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) Sydney, we invite you to participate. It’s fun, it’s friendly, it’s fulfilling – it’s philosophical!

There is a public car park located at Cross Street, Double Bay. If you are arriving via UBER or TAXI please request a drop or collection at the Council Chambers.
