Welcome to one of the most creative, and fun to use tools in a woodshop - the Wood Lathe. This course is for a person who has no prior experience with woodturning, or would like to refresh their skills. You will learn all aspects of woodturning from safety, to wood selection, to turning, sanding, and finishing. All safety equipment, tools, wood, and finishes are supplied in this course.
Students will get comfortable using the wood lathe and turning tools, and by the end of the class, you’ll create your very own wooden gavel to take home.
Bonus for Loveland CreatorSpace Members:
Members who complete the class will also earn wood lathe privileges, giving you access to use the machine independently for future projects.
