? Calling all pumpkin carvers and hunters! ?The Woodsetts Pumpkin Trail is back for 2025!
We would love as many of you as possible to get involved in the Halloween fun and raise some money for our local Scouts group and Woodsetts Primary School.
As before, we are looking for creative children and adults alike to volunteer to carve pumpkins to display; either in the garden or in a visible window. Over the years we have had some absolutely amazing carvings and displays, and there is no doubt that this year will be just as spooktacular!
If you are interested in entering a carved pumpkin, please private message Lorna Moore by Thursday 23rd October so that I can add you to the trail map and I will be in touch with further details soon. All we ask is £2 minimum donation per pumpkin entry. The pumpkins would need to be displayed Friday 31st October - Sunday 2nd November as it goes dark each night.
On the dates given, families can get dressed up in their scary fancy dress and hunt for pumpkins around the village! ? An activity sheet will be available to purchase for just £1 prior to the weekend which will include a trail map and a competition page to guess what has been carved on each pumpkin and vote for your favourite display. Both the winning pumpkin and the activity sheet with the most correct answers will win a prize!
Thank you for your support! ?
