About this Event
Using the 5 Ways to Wellbeing we will explore and get to know the wildlife on our doorsteps and look at ways we can help to look after it.
We will do some activties indoors such as nature crafts. We will also do some outdoors activities within short walking distances (approx 500m), with some standing to look at things.
You will:
· Learn new ways to support your own wellbeing whilst caring for nature
· Take Notice of the wildlife around you
· Get Active - this will always be at a gentle pace
· Connect with new people
· Give Back to nature
There is no previous experience or knowledge needed at all - we will be exploring and learning together.
The activities will all be in a small group and will be led by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust staff.
The venue is the Ibis Hotel Coventry South, Abbey Rd (via Leaf Lane), Coventry,CV3 4LF. The venue has free parking, there are accessible toilets and we will have a break for a hot drink and biscuits and fruit. If you would like to bring your lunch with you or extra snacks for yourself, you are more than welcome to do so!
You will also need:
Outdoor shoes like trainers or wellies that you don't mind getting muddy
Clothes suitable for the weather
Sun cream
Attendance is FREE. There will be a session every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, so please do look for future dates and book on if you can attend.
